FindMyTeacherNow ("we", "our", or "us") operates a token-based system that allows teachers to respond to student-posted tuition requirements. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested for token purchases made on our platform at findmyteachernow.com.

By purchasing tokens on our platform, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. What Are Tokens

Tokens are digital credits that teachers purchase to respond to student requirements posted on our platform. Each response to a student requirement consumes one token. Enquiries received directly through a teacher's public profile are free and do not require tokens.

Tokens are available in the following packages:

  • 10 Tokens — ₹99
  • 25 Tokens — ₹199
  • 50 Tokens — ₹349

3. Token Validity

Tokens do not have an expiry date. Once purchased, tokens remain available in your account indefinitely and can be used at any time as long as they are unused.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Non-Refundable Tokens

Once tokens have been used (i.e., consumed to respond to a student requirement), they are non-refundable. Used tokens cannot be reversed, credited back, or exchanged.

4.2 Accidental Purchase — 48-Hour Refund Window

If you have accidentally purchased a token package, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the purchase, provided that:

  • The refund request is submitted within 48 hours of the original purchase time.
  • None of the tokens from the purchased package have been used.
  • The purchase was made from your own account.

If any tokens from the package have already been used, a refund will not be issued for that purchase.

4.3 After 48 Hours

Refund requests made after 48 hours from the time of purchase will not be entertained, regardless of whether the tokens have been used or not. We encourage you to review your purchase carefully before completing the transaction.

5. Cancellation Policy

Token purchases on FindMyTeacherNow are one-time transactions. There are no subscriptions, recurring billing, or auto-renewal charges. Since there is no subscription to cancel, this section applies only to the purchase itself.

Once a payment is successfully processed, the tokens are credited to your account immediately. If you wish to cancel (i.e., reverse) the purchase, you must submit a refund request within the 48-hour window described above.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.).

Please note that the time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an accidental token purchase, please contact our support team using one of the following methods:

  • Email: Send an email to support@findmyteachernow.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]".
  • Contact Form: Submit a request through our Contact Us page and select "Refund Request" as the subject.

When submitting a refund request, please include the following details:

  • Your registered name and email address
  • Date and time of purchase
  • Token package purchased
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Payment transaction ID (if available)

8. Exceptions

In the event of a technical error on our platform that results in an incorrect charge or duplicate transaction, we will issue a full refund regardless of the 48-hour window. Please contact our support team with relevant details and we will investigate promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
